Wonderful!!! I have never seen the live performance (I wish you could performer it in Spain) It would be a success, I´m sure! Here, in Madrid, musicals like The Man of La Mancha, Cats, The beauty and the beast, etc, they have been a spectacular success. I don´t loose the hope ;). Ted Neeley ... I haven´t words to define him, simply MAGIC (I admire him since I was nine, when I saw him in JCS). And James O´Neill is fantastic too. In fact all of their voices are great. I love the musical!

I saw Jesus Christ Superstar over 200 times when I was a kid. (15 years old.) I waited for the DVD for a month and finally got it in the mail today. It's just as powerful now as it was all those years ago. I was really happy to find out Ted Neeley is still in theatre. His voice and acting skills were excellent then, and even better now, if that's possible.

I have never seen the live performance of the show, but I really enjoy the 3 CD set. I am a dancer in a local company and one day I suggested listening to Rasputin during our workout. The other dancers loved it and we had fun : ) ! Is the show likely to be performed in Europe too? I live in Italy. Now, just tell me what to do to convince Ted Neeley that Italy, or France, Spain or at least, England, are all wonderful countries to visit and maybe sing something there, summertime is fantastic and people are so nice, food too!! ; )

Rasputin is a marvelous masterpiece. Powerful, it has passion and all singers are excellent, conveying strong and deep emotions and their sincere involvement. Ted Neeley is magic as usual, my admiration for him is a never-ending one. I had my friends listen to Rasputin and all of them were enthusiastic, and wondered why such a record is not widely known. What about a tour to Europe and hopefully Italy too? In my town there are two magnificent theatres which have all the necessary requisites to host the musical. It is my dream to see Rasputin in Modena. If I can be of any help to you... Happy Easter! Maria Grazia, Modena, Italy, ielba@libero.it

Magnificent website, and I love the music. Ted Neeley still sounds fantastic! The first time I saw Ted, was in Jesus Christ Superstar, and it renewed my faith in the Lord. I watched JCSS with my children, and his role in that film made them realize that JC is a real cool guy. Ted is an inspiration to many, and we love him!

I am looking forward to enjoying yet another wonderful project involving my favorite performer, Ted Neeley. I have been a loyal fan ever since I first saw him in the movie musical Jesus Christ Superstar in the early 1970's. I became more curious about Rasputin after seeing the movie "Anastasia" by Disney. I know that I will most definitely appreciate Ted's performance in this!

Certainly leaves you craving more. I'm envious of all that were able to see the performance and can't wait for it to hit the road. I am a huge, huge fan of Mr. Neeley and am quite anxious to see him touring again. My tastes for musical theater seem to run to the unconventional and I am excited about this production.

I just recieved Rasputin on Wednesday, and I love this musical! I have listened to the album at leat five times already, and I hope that there will be a tour forthcoming. One of my favourite songs is "Never Say Die." Rasputin should be on Broadway!! It has all the elements for great theatre! Surley a Tony award winner, here! If there is a road tour, please keep me informed about auditioning for a part. Please bring the show to Canada. Ted Neeley made me forget that he was Jesus in Jesus Christ Superstar. That's how good the man really is! Thank you.

Was very happy to hear that Ted Neeley was a part of this monumental piece of musical theatre. Every song is a gem and the music is phenomenal. If this were on Broadway right now, I’d give it a definite rave. Here’s to hoping that the tour starts soon and manages to hit Broadway as well so I can give it a review more befitting of a show of the magnitude of “Rasputin”, starring Ted Neeley and John Hurt.

What a marvelous new intro page! Kathy, you have an incredible artistic talent; the beautiful images combined with the power of the music leaves me wanting more. Every time I hear that opening music I am transported back to the Opera House in Wilmington and the same excitement envelopes me now as then. I look forward to the day when this prodigious work will be staged to the sound of the ovations it so richly deserves.

Years ago, my son Seth and I had the pleasure of meeting Michael Rapp. Seth had the honor of singing for potential backers of this production and later performed in the concert version at the Grand Opera House in Wilmington, DE. I absolutely fell in love with the music at that time, and I'm so thrilled to finally be able to hear the finished product.

I think that Rasputin is a very holly person who just tried to help the Romanov family. Many people misjudge and are ashamed of him but they shouldn't be.

I've already ordered the CD and can't wait for it to arrive. The 15 minute tidbit just isn't enough. I had the pleasure of meeting Ted Neeley at the Grand Opera House after a CCR show and he told me he was working on Rasputin. I've been waiting for information on it since then, but just this last weekend heard about your web site - I jumped on right away! My son will enjoy this also as he loves the music of Michael Rapp. A wonderful extra for me is that John Hurt narrates - I have loved Mr. Hurt since he played Caligula in I, Claudius. Wonder cast, great music, enjoyable web site - keep up the fantastic entertainment - thank you!

The 21st Century will offer a compelling reason for everyone to make a trip to Broadway to see and experience the next mega-hit - RASPUTIN, THE MUSICAL. That's how strongly I feel about the genius of Michael Rapp in putting together, so carefully and so artfully, the words and music of this wonderful new show. Ted Neeley is riveting in the title role. He is Rasputin - voice, face and form. Love it all!

i think that the story of rasputin is remarcable , passionate , encourragin , envyously inspiracional , out of the common man , full of mistic , self disipline , highly spiritually , who want to savor life as in this earth should do like he did , let not fall in the net of fanatism , and the falshood of idolatry, but i think it will be very interesting to find out that we can do the same and better and greater , couse every thing is learneable and achivable ,-

Username: Kathryn S. CommentsI just thought of this musical after
many years and will be ordering it soon. I have the distinct pleasure of
being able to say I saw the showcase at the Grand Oprea House 5 1/2 years
ago. My father Ted Meyermann was in it. He showcased it a few years earlier
in Delaware's Best of Broadway and then was able to preform in the chours at
the showcase in 1999. It was the last thing I ever saw him preform before he
passed in 2000, so Rasputin will always have a special place in my heart.

the early 70's, having seen JC Superstar on Broadway and at serveral other
venues, multiple times with Ted as star. Needless to say, I own the record
(yes, vinyl), CD, tape, and now the DVD with commentary and watch them (or
listen to them) often. For several years, I was a religious education

Comments I've been listening to the CD's for at least a year. I love it and look forward to it coming to the stage. It needs to be showcased to build more of a following. Perhaps some concert versions or Equity Waiver size so that people can see and hear it. That way it can build a following. The problem is that outside of Ted Neeley fans, most folks have not heard of the show. It needs more exposure to folks who can make things happen! $$$$.

Comments I have been such a fan of Ted Neeley's since the movie came out in 1973. A happy moment for me and my daughter was listening to the vinyl and explaining each section to her as it was played. That was such a great mother daughter moment. He was just here in December of '06 and I got to see the play all over again. It amazes me how he was able to keep the form and keep still in the scene at the end where he died and was off the cross and raising to the beyond. Ted can be 30 or 63, he still has what it takes to captivate an audience and to hold their interest.

Comments Very nice web site, easy to use. I ordered Rasputin CD set in December and have listened to it several times, as well as having shared with friends who were as equally impressed as I. The musical composition and lyrics are beautiful, rich and satisfying. I ended up ordering 2 more sets since my friends are constantly asking to borrow mine. I wish I had known about this when it was show cased, however I hope that it will either begin a tour soon via Broadway or if that is not possible, available on DVD. I would also like information on whether Ullyses: The Greek Suite or Quisimoto are available on CD? Hope to hear from you soon....
